The Stories That Never Began

I'm going to write you stories and read them to you while you're in the NICU.  And again when you finally come home with us.  And then as you grow older.  And older.  You won't be able to remember when you first heard them.  It will be as though they have always been.  Stories forever present in your childhood, as though they had no beginning.
